It's               the               only               one               that               guarantee               100               percent               effective.

               The               Mini-Pill               
               This               is               like               the               pill               but               instead               of               having               two               hormones               in               the               pill               it               only               has               one.

This               pill               only               has               progestin               in               it.

This               pill               works               by               thickening               cervical               mucus               so               sperm               can't               get               to               your               egg.

This               is               a               pill               you               must               also               take               every               day               at               the               same               time               daily.

As               with               the               pills               if               you               miss               a               pill               or               take               it               late               you               should               use               another               form               of               protection               for               at               least               a               week.

This               pill               is               good               for               women               over               the               age               of               35,               who               have               a               risk               of               blood               clots,               or               for               women               who               can't               take               estrogen.
               Implanon               
               This               type               of               birth               control               is               implanted               in               your               arm.

It               can               be               taken               out               at               any               time.

It               will               last               for               up               to               three               years.
               Some               side               effects               with               this               type               of               birth               control               are               spotting,               heavier               periods,               acne,               change               in               sex               drive,               changes               in               appetite,               cysts               on               the               ovaries,               depression,               discoloring               or               scarring               of               the               skin               over               the               implant

               Nuvaring               
               The               nuvaring               is               a               small               flexible               plastic               that               is               inserted               in               your               vagina.

This               is               done               by               you               and               you               don't               need               a               doctor               to               fit               it               to               you               at               all.

This               one               stays               in               for               three               weeks               and               then               out               for               a               week.

This               birth               control               can               last               for               months               in               the               refrigerator               or               out               and               in               a               cool               place.

You               get               three               rings               at               a               time.

There               is               a               chance               that               the               ring               can               come               out               but               in               the               almost               two               years               I               have               been               using               the               ring               I               have               never               had               that               happen.
               Some               side               effects               with               this               type               of               birth               control               are               bleeding               between               periods,               breast               tenderness,               nausea               and               vomiting
               Ortho               evra               patch               
               The               patch               can               be               placed               on               your               butt,               hip,               or               on               your               arm.

You               wear               a               patch               for               a               week               and               then,               change               the               patch               to               a               new               spot               on               your               body.

Some               problems               with               the               patch               are               that               they               seem               to               catch               on               your               clothes               and               then               fall               off.
               Some               side               effects               with               this               type               of               birth               control               are               Bleeding               between               periods,               breast               tenderness,               nausea               and               vomiting
               IUD'S               and               IUS
               These               types               of               birth               controls               are               placed               inside               your               uterus               by               your               doctor.

They               are               normally               a               T               shape.

               Plan               B               
               This               is               not               a               birth               control               that               you               can               take               everyday               but               it               is               one               you               should               know               about               in               case               if               you               find               yourself               in               a               spot               where               you               don't               want               to               be.

If               you               had               unprotected               sex,               forgot               to               take               your               birth               control               for               a               few               days               and               then               had               sex               or               if               you               were               raped.

This               will               be               given               to               you.

This               is               not               a               pill               you               can               use               as               a               birth               control               for               everyday.

This               pill               should               be               taken               right               away.

You               take               two               pills               12               hours               apart.

If               you               are               already               pregnant               it               will               NOT               abort               your               pregnancy.

And               it               will               not               effect               a               pregnancy               on               the               way               meaning               if               your               egg               is               already               been               fertilized.
               I               think               it               is               also               important               to               note               that               these               birth               controls               will               NOT               prevent               you               from               getting               aids,               HIV               or               any               other               type               of               std's.
